Hoje nos saimos de Presidente Figueredo e fomos pra Manaus, o capital do Amazonas. Quando nos chegamos, fomos pra um zôo onde encontramos Uma familia Americana iriam nos acompanhar na viajem. No zôo a gente viu panteras negras, algumas onças, araras, papagaios, toucanos, e muitos macacos. Foi muito legal. Depois fomos para um mercado pra comprar comida pra viajem. Então depois o mercado fomos pro shopping pra almoçar. Depois nossas aventuras durante o dia nos chegamos no hotel Tropical Manaus. Quando a gente chegou, viu que Belo Brasil Também tava lá. 150 intercambistas no hotel!! Nos encontramos muitos intercambistas e alguns deles foram nossos amigos. A gente também encontrou mais pessoas dos nossos países. Depois disso fomos para um outro hotel pra assistir um show da cultura de Manaus. O show mostrou o folclore e as danças tradicionais dos índios daqui. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa e eles nos ensinaram como dançar. Depois nos comemos bolo pra comemorar o aniversário de Lucas. Depois bolo nos ficamos jogando até o curfew. Foi um dia maravilhoso.

Today we left Presidente Figueredo to go to Manaus, the capital city of the Amazons. When we arrived we went to the zoo where we met a new American family that would be joining us on the trip! At the zoo we saw black Panthers, some jaguars, Scarlet Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, Anteaters, and lots of monkeys. It was so fun! After that we went to the supermarket to buy some snacks and other supplies for our boat trip. We then went to the mall to eat lunch. After our adventures during the day we went to our 5 star hotel. Once we got there, we realized that Belo Brasil was also there and that there were 150 exchange students staying in the same hotel! Once we finally found the exchange students everyone was so happy! There were screams, laughs, and hugs had by all! After our fun at the hotel, we went to dinner and a show at another hotel. The show was about the traditional native folklore told through dance. It was an amazing experience and everyone had a great time, they even taught us to dance! We then had a cake to celebrate Lucas's birthday and we all hung out together until curfew. It was a great day!
